The management of PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) has introduced SINCERE as a guideline for the company's spirit to be cultivated in all levels of human resources and progressive at all levels of business units. SINCERE stands for Five Values,- Safety, Integrity, Commitment, Respect, Excellence. PTFI management through the President Director Toni Wenas announced it in Tembagapura on the commemoration of the Indonesian Independence Day on August 17, 2020 that "Copper and Gold are Our Products and SINCERE Values are Our Identities".
In accordance with PTFI's Vision, "To become a world-class mining company that creates superior values and is the pride for all stakeholders including employees, community and the country". In line with that, Freeport McMoran President & CEO Richard Adkerson, stated, "Our values make us strong". According to Adkerson, SINCERE is not just a word at Freeport McMoran. SINCERE are the core values the Company has built for its reputation. These values are what make us strong.
Observing the progress, until September 30, 2020, at least 750 employees from 10 Divisions plus Executives, namely Compensation & Benefit, Corporate Communication, Environmental, Government Relations, Industrial Relations, Learning & Organization Development, Manpower Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Papuan Affairs, Security Risk Management, +Executive), have participated in SINCERE Online Live Learning. About 650 employees have joined the SINCERE Topic Discussion. And as recommended by PTFI Management, it is hoped that more employees will participate in this introduction to SINCERE.

"Safety" is the daily attitude of every employee in "Safety First - for ourselves, our colleagues and our communities". "Integrity" - "We are honest, open and responsible". That means WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME TEAM, managing various opportunities to contribute to the company.
PTFI Scientific Correlation of Experts' Views of PTFI's Five Values

And if it is concluded from the viewpoint of other experts, it is the whole principle of commitment to attitude which shows honesty according to thoughts, feelings and actions in carrying out the effectiveness of its roles and functions according to the trust responsibilities it carries, so as to achieve its reputation.
There is a common view of experts who focus on understanding the commitment to work as an employee of the company. The meaning is as follows; COMMITMENT is an employee's psychological bond in the form of a very strong desire to remain an employee of a company which is marked by a willingness to exert all efforts for the benefit of the company. It is also characterized by upholding the company's values and corporate goals. (Luthans: 1995). The ability of employees or organizational members to maintain a value in an effort to achieve organizational goals in general. (Hasibuan: 2005). The degree to which employees are willing to fully trust, are willing to accept company goals and are willing to stay and not leave the company for a long time. (Mathis and Jackson: 2008). A situation in which an employee has a strong desire to maintain membership in the company. This is not about career path, salary and so on, but the comfort and feeling that is so deep to work in the company. (Robbins & Judge: 2008)
Whereas RESPECT according to KBBI is respect, honor, respect for noble deeds. "It is clear here that respect is a fundamental human aspect. With respect between us as employees and the PTFI extended family, there is no the difference between us. Where we still respect and need each other in work activities, but only to a certain extent we must understand to respect each other according to our roles, levels and functions in the company. Thus, our daily activities can run smoothly and success because of that respect.
Finally, EXCELENCE or EXCELLENCE, if extracted from the opinions of various parties who focus on socio-economic aspects. The author also concludes that Excellence is an ability with different strengths and creativity or to be different from other entities by being more efficient in managing existing resources.
