As part of PTFI commitment for the health of employees and their families, PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) together with Primo Supermarket presents a healthy recipe for which raw materials and ready-to-eat products can be obtained at the healthy food corner in the Primo Supermarket family shopping center in Tembagapura and Kuala Kencana. These healthy food corners are under the supervision and handling of Primo Supermarkets, International SOS through the Dept. Public Health and PTFI Commercial Recreation Department and available every Friday and Saturday in the last Sunday of each month.
Manager Public Health & Malaria Control (PHMC) Department, dr. Firdy Permana added that selected healthy recipes will be promoted every month as part of the campaign for a healthy lifestyle for the PTFI community. Healthy food corner is available to support PT Freeport's healthy living campaign in the Employee Wellness Program, to improve the health and fitness of employees and the PTFI community.
According to the person in charge of Primo Supermarket's healthy food corner, Danu Asmoro, the healthy food corner is placed strategically with a healthy food guidance to give customer service and guide costumer to choose healthy foods to cook.
Through healthy food, PTFI strives to increase and campaign awareness of healthy living among employees and their families. Starting from choosing a healthy food menu. Besides that, it is also to introduce healthy cooking menus that are practical and can be cooked at home for the whole family. (hp)
PTFI also provide the similar program called Helahty Food Festical Day once a month for employees who accessed the mess halls for meals.
