PT Freeport Indonesia Win Recognition in Subroto Awards 2023

In accordance with the implementation of the principle of Good Mining Practices, PT Freeport Indonesia continues to conduct sustainable and safe operations.
At the 2023 Subroto Awards awarding night held by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), last Friday, September 29, PT Freeport Indonesia received acclamation for its Human Resources Development in the Energy and Mineral Resources Sector.
This award is conferred to Businesses, Regular Businesses, and Government Agencies in the energy and mineral resources sector, and Vocational Education Students demonstrating achievements and numerous contributions to human resources competency development in the ESDM sector.
Vice President Director of PT Freeport Indonesia, Jenpino Ngabdi received the award for the recognition given for PTFI's hard work over pasr year.

"An honor for us to win the 2023 Subroto Awards by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). The award given motivate us to continue to maintain and increase productivity which can have an impact on company performance.
ESDM Minister Arifin Tasrif said the Subroto Awards are presented by the ESDM Ministry in appreciation of the best performing stakeholders in the energy and mineral resources.
“The Subroto Awards are by way of the ESDM Ministry showing highest appreciation for stakeholders with the best performance in advancing the energy and mineral resources sector in Indonesia over the past year,” Arifin said.
Arifin urged all mining companies to continue innovations and downstreaming efforts towards increasing added value for the nation and state.
