PTFI Sends Four Instructors to National Competition

Four PTFI instructors are heading to the 7th Annual National Instructor Skills Competition finals after taking first place at the Papua and West Papua regional competition held recently at the Sorong Training Center (BLK).

Receiving first place awards and competing at the National Level of KKIN being held at Samarinda BLK are:

  • Saptoko Nurismiyanto –  Vocational Electrical Installation
  • Jakiyono – Vocational Welding
  • Dian Akhiruddin – Vocational Information Technology Software Solutions
  • Edwin Palohoen – Vocational Light Vehicle Automotive

The competition included taking tests on Theory of Teaching Methodology Tests, Methodology Practice Tests (microteaching), Technical Theory Tests and Technical Practice Tests.



Congratulations also goes to the following who placed during the regional competition:

  • Gunawan – Second place for Vocational Welding
  • Simon Rura – Second place for Vocational Electrical Installation
  • Muhammad Saleng – Second place for Vocational Information Technology Software Solutions
  • Rusdi Palembang – Third place for Vocational Electronics

This event is sponsored by Staff Training and Instructor Development Directorate, General Directorate of Training and Productivity Development, Ministry of Manpower with the goal of improving an instructor’s competency in both vocational and methodology training.
