PTFI Wins CSR Award 2024: Proof of Commitment to Empowerment and Sustainable Development

Gresik, December 19, 2024 – PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) has again won an award from the Gresik Regency Government in the 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award. In the event held in conjunction with the 2025 CSR Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang).

PTFI CSR Superintendent, Nana Suharna said that the achievement was achieved thanks to collaboration with various stakeholders who ensured that PTFI's CSR program was relevant and had a sustainable impact. "We will continue to work with relevant stakeholders and continue to coordinate with the Gresik Regency Government to strengthen economic empowerment, infrastructure development, health, education, and the environment," said Nana.

PTFI was awarded the "Most Committed Company to the Economy and Community Empowerment; Infrastructure and Environment; Health; Education; Social and Religious". The event was attended by the Regent of Gresik, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Gresik, and the Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Gresik.

Nana also said that this award motivated PTFI to continue to increase its contribution to the community and the surrounding environment.

PTFI develops CSR programs through coordination with stakeholders, adjusting to community needs through the Rembuk Akur consultative forum, which has been running for the past two years.

By winning this award, PTFI further emphasizes its position as a company that not only focuses on business operations, but also actively provides real impacts for the community and environment around its operations, and collaborates well with the Gresik Regency Government.
