The vocational school which is located in the PTFI company area at LIP-Kuala Kencana is of concern to the company because the students and teachers who enter and leave the school pass through the roads in the company area, so it is important for them to know and understand the driving regulations in the PTFI area.

The Principal of SMK N 1 Mimika Selsius E. Aron M.Pd., expressed his gratitude to the 2024 PTFI National Safety Month Committee who cares about the students, because every day this Vocational School student rides a motorbike to school. "They (students) must be educated about the safety of riding motorbikes on the road, so that they better understand and obey the rules and always prioritize safety." he said.

Chairman of the 2024 PTFI National Safety Month Committee for the Lowland area, Handanawirya Narottama, told the students to take part in this road user safety education activity well, "Because safety starts with us, and when we do it well, it will also have a good impact on other people.”

"We hope that, after following this safety education, all of you (students) will always remember and implement it in your daily lives both in the school environment, on the streets and in society. You are all ambassadors for your personal safety as well as the safety of others.” he added.

One of the 10th grade students, Grecia, expressed her gratitude to the 2024 PTFI National Safety Month Committee for coming and providing lessons about safe riding on motorbikes. According to her, "This is very important for me, apart from having to wear a helmet, it turns out there are a lot of things I need to know and understand about riding a motorbike. Like traffic signs, I only knew a little, and now I know a lot more.” she said.
