Freeport Indonesia Commemorates Kartini Day with Spirit of Collaboration in the Modern Workplace

Gresik, April 21, 2025 – PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) Smelting & Refining commemorated Kartini Day with great enthusiasm and inspiration through an event themed “Collaboration, Productivity, Resilience, and Mindfulness: The Key to Success in the Modern Workplace.” Held at the Administration Building, the event was attended by 50 female employees and contractors from various departments on Monday (04/21).

The event began with a warm welcome from management representative Anand Raman, Vice President of Smelter & PMR Operations, followed by an inspiring motivational session with Dr. Titis Tata, MM, CT.NNLP, LSP, an award-winning speaker who received the 2024 ASEAN Best Motivational Influencer Award and 2023 Successful Women in Leadership and Influential Brand Award.

During the session, Dr. Titis emphasized the importance of women’s roles in building a collaborative, productive work environment while maintaining resilience and mindfulness amidst the evolving challenges of today’s workplace.

As part of the spirit of togetherness and creativity, participants also took part in a series of games and a DIY Cookies Creation activity, an interactive session encouraging self-expression through the art of cookie decorating. The excitement continued with the announcement of the Best Dress Code and Best Cookies Creation, recognizing participants for their standout style and creative flair.

“This event is not only a moment to honor the legacy of Indonesia’s national heroine R.A. Kartini but also a reflection of the continued contribution of today’s women who are empowered, accomplished, and influential in the workplace,” said Anand.

One of the participants, Rosalin Roswita, expressed her joy in joining the event. “I’m truly happy to be part of this inspiring celebration. I hope it boosts our confidence and reminds us that women can be empowered and passionate about continuously improving their skills,” said Rosa.
