PTFI Vice President Corporate Communications, Katri Krisnati said this effort is part of PTFI's commitment to provide quality education for Papuan children, "PTFI provides the widest possible space for them to develop themselves, one of which is through the arts."
Through a five-day workshop from Monday-Friday, June 23-27, 2025, SATP elementary and junior high school students along with 14 other participants from Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, to Japan and the United States followed a series of rigorous exercises from morning to evening. They were required to master the songs and performance scenes.

One of SATP's junior high school students from the Amungme tribe, Titita Omaleng, who played the role of The Dodgers, said she was very happy and enjoyed her new experience. "I learned to always be confident and believe that we can give our best. Thank you, Freeport Indonesia, for giving us the opportunity to participate in this event, and for continuing to support Papuan children in their work," Titita said.
