“Our Employees Are Our Main Asset”

(SPORTHALL) Successfully held a series of PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) anniversary celebrations by providing free eye health facilities, which were held for 2 weeks. The highlight of PTFI's 57th anniversary celebrations was held at the Sporthall, Tembagapura, on April 7th, 2024.
Starting with an opening band from the Tembagapura Music Community, the event started at 17.00 WIT. Soon the Sporthall was filled with employees and their families, as well as other visitors who wanted to take part in the Break Fast and PTFI Anniversary Celebration.
Led by Ustadz Muh. Encep Ibnu Shalih, S.AG, prayers for the PTFI extended family were offered solemnly. Before the event continued, Ersa Mayori, as the host, invited the audience to stand up and sing PTFI’s March together.
Not only bands, the PTFI Anniversary celebration was also enlivened by the Muslim Community Foundation which performed several dances which entertained the audience both directly and indirectly by giving prizes to those who could answer quiz questions in the comment's column of the PTFI Anniversary live broadcast on YouTube.
In his short remarks that afternoon PTFI President Director Tony Wenas shared about the lunch together at Rdige Camp "I want to say thank you and the way to thank you is to serve the employees. Because the task of management is also to serve, not just be served. Because our employees are our main asset, and in particular how we can all contribute to Indonesia by working for Indonesia."
Before Break Fast, Tausyiah was delivered by Ust. H Dr. Takdir Asran. M. Pd.I. With the theme of PTFI's anniversary and still in the Ramadan period, Tausyiah was delivered coolly and invited laughter. After listening to Tausyiah and the Adzan resounding, the Muslims who were present immediately break their fast. While breaking the fast, the audience was entertained with live music and performances from the Tembagapura Dance Crew.
Ending the highlight of PTFI's 57th Anniversary event, the event was enlivened by several musicians. With Ersa Mayori stepping down as host of the event, Nidji Band immediately enlivened the Sporthall with their songs. Not onlyNidji, the concert performance that night was enlivened by the collaboration of Nidji and Mezzaluna, as well as Rio Sidik. The togetherness and warmth that was created from the beginning of the Break Fast until the end of the concert really strengthened the PTFI extended family.
