“The presence of Freeport in Mimika and the land of Papua provides a very significant contribution, and the government very much hopes that this contribution will continue. The government continues to support negotiations according to what is expected,” said the Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Mimika Regency, Paulus Yanengga, SH, M.Si.

The Collective Labor Agreement (PKB) is an instrument for labor protection, certainty of rights, and a tangible measure of the company's commitment to worker welfare. The renewal process, as a space for open and constructive dialogue based on mutual respect, can create a healthy industrial relationship.

"A healthy industrial relationship can only be built through honest communication, good intentions, and the willingness to achieve the best solution for all parties with a spirit of deliberation and consensus. Therefore, it is important to succeed in negotiations for the common interest, both for the company and for the employees." Said the chairman of PUK SP KEP SPSI Yudha Noya in his speech at the beginning of the event. (Dannu Rahmat)
