Travel Fair 2025: PTFI’s Commitment to Support Employee Quality Time
Amidst the busy work routine and challenging operational terrain, Travel Fair returns to the jobsite as part of the company’s effort to provide convenience for PTFI employees, contractors, and the community in utilizing the travel facilities available.
This annual event affirms the Company’s commitment to promoting work-life balance by reminding employees of their entitlement to various travel-related benefits such as leave days, ticket entitlements, and travel allowances.
Travel Fair is a collaborative initiative between Quality of Life (QoL), HR Travel, and Antavaya as one of the company’s travel agency partners.
“The goal is to make it easier for employees to plan their travel and quality time with their families,” said Harter Kawengian, Superintendent of the HR Service Center Leave & Travel.
Travel Fair 2025 was held across three different locations: Superblock Ridgecamp (June 4 - 5), Family Shopping 68 Tembagapura (June 6 - 7), and continues at the Kuala Kencana Atrium (June 8 - 9). Over two days at each location, the event features tourism industry partners. Airlines, hotels, and travel agencies participated by offering a range of attractive promotions, from discounted tickets to free stays at star-rated hotels.
The fair also featured happy hours, prize draws, and interactive games for registered participants.
This year’s Travel Fair showcased more than a dozen booths, comprising travel agencies, hotels, resorts, and both domestic and international airlines. Each booth offered exclusive promotions available only during the event. Additionally, the “Best Deals Holiday” package, in collaboration with Pergi.com, provided the best value in terms of price and facilities for family holidays.
One memorable moment was when Sinak Tabuni, an Operations Maintenance employee and a member of the Dani tribe-- one of the seven tribes around the PTFI area, won a hotel voucher for a holiday in Bali through the Travel Fair raffle.
The enthusiasm of the participants was further enlivened by live performance from the Komustra band at Tembagapura traditional dance performance at Kuala Kencana, and the active involvement of employees and their families, which added to the lively atmosphere.
The Travel Fair serves as a reminder that rest is not a luxury-- but a necessity. With full support from PTFI, employees are encouraged to take time off, recharge, and create meaningful moments with their loved ones.
