Freeport dan Serikat Pekerja Resmi Kunci Kesepakatan PKB 2026–2028
Jakarta, 10 April 2026 – Presiden Direktur PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) Tony Wenas bersama tiga Ketua Serikat Pekerja/Buruh PTFI menandatangani Perjanjian Kerja Bersama (PKB) PTFI ke-24 periode 2026 2028, di Jakarta, Jumat (10/4). Ketiga Ketua Serikat Pekerja/Buruh tersebut yaitu Ketua Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia (SPSI) Yudha Noya, Serikat Buruh Seluruh Indonesia (SBSI) Makmesser Kafiar, dan Serikat Pekerja Mandiri Papua (SPMP) Virgo Solossa.
Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Republik Indonesia, Yassierli, turut hadir menyaksikan prosesi penandatanganan PKB serta menyampaikan ucapan selamat kepada seluruh karyawan dan tim perunding. Ia berharap PKB yang telah disepakati dapat menjadi landasan yang kokoh dalam membangun hubungan industrial yang harmonis, produktif, dan berkelanjutan.
“Perjanjian Kerja Bersama ini menjadi momentum penting bagi dua komponen utama perusahaan, yaitu manajemen dan serikat pekerja/buruh sebagai perwakilan pekerja, untuk bersinergi dan berkolaborasi dalam membangun agenda bersama. Hal ini menjadi semakin relevan mengingat tantangan ke depan yang akan dihadapi tidaklah mudah,” kata Yassierli.
Ia menyampaikan, Kemnaker memiliki perhatian tinggi terhadap proses perumusan hingga penandatanganan PKB. Kemnaker turut mengawal proses tersebut melalui mediator hubungan industrial yang siap turun apabila terjadi kendala dalam perundingan.
Menteri juga menyampaikan rasa syukur dan doanya kepada PTFI, pekerja, serta masyarakat Papua. “Kita bersyukur PKB telah ditandatangani, saya doakan PT Freeport Indonesia maju, sejahtera pekerja dan rakyat Papua,” katanya.
Sementara itu Tony Wenas dalam pidatonya menyampaikan apresiasi kepada tiga serikat pekerja/buruh yang telah menyelesaikan proses verifikasi, penyusunan tata tertib, hingga berhasil mencapai kesepakatan penuh setelah proses perundingan yang berlangsung selama 18 hari sejak dimulai pada 23 Februari 2026. “PKB yang kita tandatangani saat ini adalah yang ke-24, jadi sudah 48 tahun kita ada PKB, mungkin salah satu yang terlama di Indonesia,” kata Tony.
Ia menjelaskan poin-poin penting yang telah disepakati, antara lain kenaikan upah serta peningkatan sejumlah tunjangan, seperti tunjangan akomodasi di luar fasilitas perusahaan, tunjangan pekerja tambang bawah tanah, tunjangan pendidikan sekolah, serta tunjangan hari tua dan lainnya dengan komitmen utama untuk terus mengutamakan keselamatan kerja.
The signing of the 2026-2028 Collective Labor Agreement (PKB) marks the culmination of negotiations conducted between the PTFI management representatives and three labor unions/workers' unions. The series of activities began with the reading and approval of the rules of procedure as a common foundation for conducting the dialogue process.
The composition of the negotiation team consists of the Employer PKB Negotiation Team with 8 members, the Worker/Labor Union (SP/SB) PKB Negotiation Team with 9 members, the Employer Industrial Relations Guidelines (PHI) Formulation Team with 9 members, and the SP/SB PHI Formulation Team with 9 members.
The PKB is an important instrument in providing job protection, certainty of rights, and as a form of the company's commitment to workers' welfare. The PKB renewal process is expected to serve as an open, constructive dialogue space based on mutual respect to create healthy and sustainable industrial relations.
"Thank you for the support and active role of the central government through the Ministry of Manpower and the local government through the Manpower Offices at the provincial and regency levels, as well as the Central Leaders of SPSI and SBSI, who have supported the dialogue process and the achievement of this Collective Labor Agreement," said Tony.
Tony Wenas also emphasized that for PTFI management, labor unions/workers are not merely seen as work partners, but are part of the company's large family, supporting and protecting each other throughout the journey with PTFI.
"The agreement reached becomes an important foundation for achieving shared goals, namely ensuring that company operations run well, thereby improving the welfare of employees, families, and the community," said Tony.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Union/Workers' Negotiation Team, Yudha Noya, hopes that with the ratification of this Collective Labor Agreement, all workers can experience an increasingly safe and comfortable work environment, and the extended PTFI family becomes more prosperous under a company that continues to progress and develop.
