The National Social Security System (SJSN / BPJS Employment ) for Employment recently visited PT Freeport Indonesia Operational area in the Lowlands in order to improve the service of SJSN participants and as a Customer Relationship Management program with PT Freeport Indonesia.

During the visit, the SJSN group had a chance to see Kuala Kencana,  and to attend a presentation on PTFI and its operations. 

Director & EVP Sustainable Development & Community Relations,  Claus Wamafma in his opening speech emphasized the importance of fostering strong partnerships with SJSN. “100 percent of our employees at PTFI have participated in SJSN, whether it is JHT, JKK, JKM and JP. We hope this cooperation can continue smoothly.” 



In the same tone Deputy Director of SJSN for employment for Bali, Nusa Tenggara, and Papua regions, Kuncoro Budi said “Freeport, as one of the largest business entities has a significant economic impact of around 30% in Papua and 73% in Mimika. Therefore, we must have a good relationship and build a partnership with Freeport Indonesia.” 

Kuncoro Budi Winarno also gave a brief explanation on the programs available at SJSN. And give appreciation to PTFI for the partnership especially for continued assistance given to ex-employees to be able to claim their SJSN benefits. Kuncoro Budi Winarno informed that the number of vendors from PTFI who have registered as SJSN participants is 209 Business Entities.

The visit was concluded with an Iftar and dinner at Rimba Papua Golf, in Kuala Kencana. (im)
